CUE 100 is a range of AC or DC compatible variable speed drives, designed for controlling pumping systems with submersible and multistage pumps. CUE 100 is a compact solution with a durable design, suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations (NEMA 4X/IP66). CUE 100 requires a single phase input and can control single and 3 phase motors along with permanent magnet motors. It works with a wide input voltage range: 90 to 265 VAC (AC) or 90 to 400 VDC (DC). CUE 100 has a built–in dV/dT filter, to protect the motor against voltage spikes that potentially can degrade the insulation material, and lead to short circuit of the motor. It is recommended to install a sinewave filter between the pump and the CUE 100 if the cable length between the CUE 100 and the motor is more than 300 m/1000 ft. Also, a sinewave filter is recommended if the CUE 100 is used with an old and weak motor. The design has much attention on ease of installation regarding physical dimensions, weight, accessibility for connecting wires, and programming. CUE 100 is set up by default for constant pressure control, but it can be configured for other applications, for example tank filling. All relevant settings can be configured to fit the application’s need. With CUE 100 it is possible to run pumps that are designed for AC power with a DC power source (solar, wind & battery power). CUE 100 has built in Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) which enables it to run from solar power, changing performance according to the energy available at the time. The wide DC voltage range ensures that the pump can operate in situations with little power generation i.e. ensuring maximum operation time per day.
